Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies is seeking to appoint a
Teaching Fellow in Biblical Hebrew to teach one BA and MA course unit in 2015/16,
consisting of 3 weekly hours of teaching over two terms, as well as tutorials,
preparation and marking.

The post holder must undertake to carry out other duties within the scope, spirit and
purpose of the job as requested by the Head of Department.
The appointment to cover research leave will be from 21 September 2015 to 10 June 2016.
Key Requirements
The candidate must hold a PhD, or working towards completion of a PhD in
Biblical Hebrew or a closely related field and have a proven record of teaching
Biblical Hebrew.
