With its network of parishes covering the country, the Church of England plays an active role in national life, bringing an important Christian dimension to the nation as well as strengthening community. The National Church Institutions (NCIs) support and promote the aims of the Church.
In this role, you will be contributing to the research capacity of the Ministry Division by helping us to develop a programme of research aimed at increasing the Church of England’s understanding of the impact of our investments in ministerial education, our policies, and institutional practices relating to diversity.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant research-led discipline, you will have proven statistical ability and experience of research methods and applying them to small-scale research projects. You will also need knowledge of survey methodology, data collection techniques and qualitative research, and be able to use a wide range of statistical techniques and software effectively, including NVivo, SPSS or similar.
On a personal level, you will need to be self-motivated, with the ability to plan and deliver a wide range of projects to deadline, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.
