ACADEMIC DEAN
Trinity Theological College invites expressions of interest and nominations for the (new) full-time position of Academic Dean to begin January 2015 (negotiable). A member of the faculty, the Academic Dean will oversee Trinity’s academic process and development.
Trinity is an independent theological college within the evangelical and reformed tradition which aims to equip people for effective Word ministry. Graduates serve in churches, mission and parachurch contexts. Trinity is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology.
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate: a lively personal Christian faith and exemplary character, an open-hearted willingness to support the mission and ethos of Trinity, preaching and pastoral gifts, sound teaching and learning practices, and strong relational, communication and administrative abilities.
Qualifications for this position will include an MDiv (or equivalent) and a research degree (MTh or PhD) in biblical and/or theological studies from accredited institutions.
Position duties will include: administrative oversight (with assistance) and development of degree and certificate courses and of student management (from pre-enrolment to graduation); teaching and supervision in the degree courses; participation in the wider College community; and ongoing research and publications.
