TRINITY THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE, PERTH - LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN THEOLOGY
Trinity Theological College, Perth, invites applications and expressions of interest for the position of full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Theology and related areas (to begin July 2018 [negotiable]).
Trinity aims to equip people so that their ministries and lives will be shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to teach and model such a ministry, applicants for this position will evidence a mature Christian faith and Christ-like character, along with a pastoral heart. They will also have clear reformed, evangelical convictions, including a commitment to expository preaching and biblical theology. Previous employment in church or mission contexts, ability to teach and serve in a tertiary environment, and strong preaching and ministry gifts are also expected. Academic qualifications for this position will include an MDiv (or equivalent) and a PhD with relevant specialization (Reformation studies an advantage). Candidates with less experience or who are currently in a PhD program are also encouraged to apply. Duties of this appointment will include: teaching, pastoral oversight and care of students, some research supervision, and full participation in the life and ministry of the College.
